The 5 Minute Rule: How to get STARTED

Don't you HATE the feeling when there is something you SHOULD do, but you just "can't get to the doing part".

Ok maybe some people never have this problem, but I certainly did.


A few weeks ago I spoke about the "The 2 Minute Rule: How to get your Life in order" & TODAY I will Flip that idea on its head to give another useful tool for productivity!


So, again, it is really simple!


If ever you are facing a task that needs completing (whether something for work, or you want to start reading a book...), you say to yourself:


"Just Start it and do it for 5 Minutes."


That's it.


Come on!

It's Just 5 Minutes!


Then, even a bigger task doesn't seem so difficult to start, because remember, you only have to do it for 5 minutes!


The beauty of this method is that once you have been doing it for 5 minutes, you will Most often just keep going!!!


And that's "The 5 Minute Rule".
